"We should take from the past its fires and not its ashes." ~ Jean Juares |
"The spark for this
business came to me when I wanted to transcribe stories from my
grandmother, who was born in 1900, from a cassette tape to my computer.
I began to listen to the 25 year old tape and it snapped in two. After
much heartache, some Scotch tape and an Exacto knife, I was able to
repair the tape, make a copy and continue with my plans. I was able to
present the stories to my father as a Father's Day present.
I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone and so I decided to create a business that would provide a much needed service to people who value the experiences, stories, and wisdom of the generations before them." ~ Owner, Megan M.
